Shazam Year in Music 2018

Creative Director

As Creative Director, I led a team of copywriters, our research group, marketing and creative to bring Shazam's unique use of data to life in our Year in Music experience and campaign. Fans could have a look back at music’s heaviest hitters on Shazam, catch up with Next to Know’s rising star in 2018 and discover the artists everyone will be talking about in 2019. 

The campaign garnered press coverage and was the highest performing content piece within the app for the month of January.


To celebrate a huge first year for Next to Know, myself and the team also conceptualized an invite-only private showcase of the year's incredible roster of up-and-coming artists.
